An Iraq Wedding Blown To Bits

As the violence continues without let-up in Iraq, on Tuesday a Baghdad wedding was blown-up, as the nation is swept up in madness. In all 69 people were killed in multiple bombings, including the wedding and 169 more were injured. http://original.antiwar.com/updates/2013/05/29/baghdad-wedding-bloodbath-69-iraqis-killed/

If only there was an Iraq leadership wise enough to initiate a truce and invite their adversaries in to peacefully resolve their differences, or at the least, just live together non-violently. But where is the United Nations involvement in finding a peace? Where are the U.S.'s attempts at mediation for it was the U.S. whose war and occupation that set off the Hell that is Iraq today.

Dear Reader, I offer the Iraqi men, women and children my prayers and my hope for a better future. Perhaps you will join me with your prayers and your hopes for them. They are our brethren and they deserve far better than the war zone lives they live.
