Iraq In July: 1,057 Dead, 2,326 Wounded

Dear Reader, The carnage in Iraq continues topping the highest levels of earlier this year, and reaching numbers not seen since the peak of the U.S. invasion in 2007. http://news.antiwar.com/2013/08/01/un-over-1000-iraqis-kill-in-july-highest-toll-in-years/

This tragedy of killing and injuring vast numbers of Iraqi men, women and children and orphaning many more children is something for now unstoppable, although there are no clear signs anyone is making a vast and sincere effort to stop the carnage.

It also serves as yet another valuable lesson of the Hell war brings to mankind, a lesson unheeded by many lethal organizations and nations including the U.S. in its endless "War on Terror."
