Notes From Peace Demonstrations: In Iraq The Killing Continues, 1/24/13

Although the U.S. declared its Iraq War over, the killing continues. On Thursday, 51 more Iraqis were killed and 98 more Iraqis were wounded. http://original.antiwar.com/updates/2013/01/23/at-least-51-killed-98-wounded-in-iraq-attacks/

To these numbers, add devastated families, traumatized children, overwhelmed medical services and the perpetuation of fear, where many people are afraid to conduct their normal activities, never knowing when or where the next attacks will occur.

No-one should be subjected to this misery.

It is with heartache I share this information with you dear reader, but with the hope that Iraqis will unite to stop this madness, and find a workable way to live their lives in peace.
