Am I Not Human?

Am I not human? Do I not love? Do I not have family just as you do? Do I not have children? Do I not have a soul? Are we not on this spiritual journey together?

Do I not have feelings? Do I not bleed when you hurt me? Do I not cry when you hurt my family?

Is my life worth less than yours? Who gave you the right to attack me or even kill me? Who will care for my family when because of you I no longer can?

Why is war your answer? Instead, can't you speak with me to resolve our differences? I await your reply, and even as I do, I forgive you for all the pain your actions have caused.
